Mathepedia is a professional-level mathematical encyclopaedia aimed to create a public space for mathematical concept explanation and discussion.

Our mission

Our goal is to provide a clear, accessible, and mathematically accurate resource for all maths belovers. We believe that all mathematical ideas — from the foundational arithmetic operations to the well-combined calculus — deserve to be documented with precision and quality.

What do we cover?

Mathepedia covers a wide range of mathematics, including but not limited to:

• Pure Maths: Arithmetic operations, algebra, geometry, calculus, etc.
• Applied Maths: Statistical theory, probabilities, computation, etc.
• History behind Maths: Famous mathematicians and scientists behind the powerful formulae.
• And much more you can think of!

Rigor and Rendering

We believe that render of formulae on different client devices (like iOS, Windows) should not be a problem. Therefore, we utilise LaTeX for mathematical expressions and MathJax as formulae rendering engine.
